What it is like to work here
Bottle Screen Printers has been serving South African businesses since 2007, with our base in Aeroton and installs nationwide. We spend our days on real production floors, helping customers get consistent print quality on cylindrical products and keeping equipment running through long shifts, load-shedding and tight delivery dates.
Our team is practical, steady and customer focused. You will find a mix of office support, workshop tasks and site work, so the job can change from one morning to the next. Some days call for careful setup and fine adjustments, other days call for quick thinking when a line is down and needs attention fast.
Roles we often hire for
We do not keep a fixed vacancy list on this page, but we regularly need people in technical, production and client support roles. Experience with screen printing, mechanical equipment, colour setup or machine servicing is useful, though strong work ethic and attention to detail matter just as much.
- Installation and field service support
- Screen making and screen reclaiming
- Operator training and production support
- Spare parts handling and workshop assistance
- Sales support and customer coordination
- Preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs
Skills that help you fit in
We work with machines, screens, inks and production schedules, so neat work and clear communication matter. You should be comfortable around tools, able to follow setup instructions and willing to learn proper procedures for cleaning, alignment and routine checks. If you can solve problems without guesswork, you will fit in well.
Because we install and support clients in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Midrand, Durban, Cape Town and beyond, travel may form part of the job. A valid driver’s licence is useful for some roles, and the ability to work at customer sites is important.
- Hands-on technical ability
- Good record keeping and reporting
- Respect for customer sites and safety rules
- Willingness to work with deadlines
How to send your CV
If you would like to be considered for future opportunities, send your CV through our contact form. Please include your name, the area you live in, your experience and the type of work you are looking for. If you have worked with cylindrical screen-printing equipment, mention the models or processes you know.
It helps to add a short note about your availability and whether you are open to site visits or workshop based work. If you have certificates, trade papers or references, include those too. A clear CV makes it easier for us to match your background to the right role.
Where you may work from
Most of our team is connected to our Aeroton Johannesburg base, but some roles support field work across Gauteng and other provinces. We often assist customers in Johannesburg South, Midrand and Pretoria, as well as Durban and Cape Town. That means work can include site setup, operator training, machine installation and follow-up service.
For some positions, being organised and ready for the road is just as important as technical knowledge. You may also need to work around factory hours, municipal access rules or production windows at customer sites, so flexibility helps.
- Aeroton and Johannesburg South
- Midrand and Pretoria
- Durban and coastal KZN
- Cape Town and the Western Cape
A place for steady growth
We value people who want to build skill over time. Whether you start in support, training, production or service, you will learn how cylindrical printing equipment works in the real world and how to keep customers printing properly. Small improvements matter here, from a cleaner screen to a better setup or a faster turnaround on spares.
If you are looking for a practical role where your work shows in the final print and in the customer’s production line, you will find this is a good fit. We do not expect perfection on day one, but we do expect honesty, effort and care. Small typo or missing detail can cost a job, so attention matters.
