Who we are and who this policy applies to
This policy applies to Bottle Screen Printers, based in Aeroton, Johannesburg, and to the services we provide across South Africa, including machine installation, site setup, training, maintenance and support. It also applies to enquiries, orders, service calls and any other interaction you have with us by email, phone, WhatsApp or in person.
For the purpose of this policy, Bottle Screen Printers is the responsible party and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd acts as the operator where it processes information on our instructions. If you send us a message through our contact form, we may collect the details needed to respond properly and keep accurate records of the work we carry out.
Information we collect in the normal course of business
We collect only the personal information needed to deal with sales, service and after-sales support. This may include contact details, delivery addresses, job notes, company names, VAT details, machine requirements and communication records. Where needed, we may also record access instructions for sites in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Midrand, Durban, Cape Town and other areas we serve.

Why we use your information
We use personal information to quote, supply, install, train, maintain and repair equipment. We also use it to arrange deliveries, schedule visits, respond to breakdown calls, issue invoices and keep proper service records. Where a client needs colour setup help, screen making guidance or production optimisation, we may use job details to prepare accurate technical support.
We do not use your information for unrelated purposes. If we need to use it for a new reason that is not covered here, we will first check that the use is allowed under POPIA and, where required, ask for your permission.
When we share information and where it may go
We only share personal information when it is necessary for the service you asked for, when the law requires it, or when a third party helps us carry out our work. This may include transport providers, technicians, accountants, IT support and other service providers who must keep the information confidential.
- To arrange delivery or on-site work
- To process payments and reconcile accounts

Some service providers may store information on systems outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure the information is protected to a proper standard.
How we keep information secure and how long we keep it
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and improper disclosure. These steps include access controls, secure storage and limiting access to staff who need the information to do their jobs. In practical terms, this applies to records held in Aeroton and to service information gathered during installs or repairs nationwide.
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. After that, it is deleted, destroyed or de-identified in a proper manner.
Your rights under POPIA and how to contact us
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request corrections, and in some cases to object to certain processing. You may also request that we stop using information where the law allows it. We will respond within a reasonable time and may ask for proof of identity before making changes, to protect your records.
If you need to update your details, ask a privacy question or raise a concern, send us a message through our contact form. Please include your name, company name if relevant, and enough detail for us to locate the correct record.
