Leadership that keeps the work practical

Thabo Mokoena leads Bottle Screen Printers from our Aeroton base with a clear focus on dependable equipment and straight answers. He has built the business around what printers need on the floor: machines that hold registration, support that arrives when promised, and advice that works in local conditions from coastal humidity to dry inland sites.

Thabo stays involved in planning for installs nationwide, and he is often the first point of contact when a client needs direction on machine choice, production flow or a tricky print setup. He keeps the team aligned so small and large operations get the same careful attention, whether the job is in Johannesburg South or further afield.

Operations and service coordination

Naledi Khumalo manages the daily movement of work from quote to delivery and after-sales support. She keeps installations organised, follows up on training dates, and makes sure service calls are logged properly so nothing gets missed. In a busy week that might mean coordinating a Midrand setup in the morning and a spares dispatch to Durban by afternoon.

Sibusiso Nene handles service coordination and keeps repair work moving. He works closely with clients who need fast answers during production pressure, especially when load-shedding or a breakdown interrupts output. His job is to get the right technician, the right part and the right plan in place without wasting time.

  • Install bookings and site readiness checks
  • Service call tracking and repair updates
  • Spare parts follow-up and dispatch support

Sales and technical guidance on the right machine

Johan van der Merwe works with customers who need clear technical advice before they buy. He explains machine sizing, print area limits, production speeds and what to expect during changeovers, so clients can match equipment to real demand not guesswork. His focus is on helping businesses choose a setup that suits bottles, cups or tubes and the way they print day to day.

Johan also assists with colour setup help and production optimising after the machine is in place. That can include adjusting fixtures, checking screen alignment, or showing operators how to reduce waste when running multiple colours. It saves time and helps keep print quality steady through longer shifts.

Hands-on installation across South Africa

Anele Dlamini is the technician who turns a delivery into a working production line. He handles machine installation, site setup and on-site checks so equipment is level, connected and ready for the first run. He is careful with practical details like power supply, compressor position, workspace flow and access for cleaning around the machine.

Because many clients operate in live production spaces, Anele plans around real site conditions and not ideal ones. That might mean working around limited floor space in Johannesburg South, tight loading access in Pretoria, or setting up in a coastal factory where humidity affects curing and screen handling. He makes sure the operator knows the machine before he leaves.

  • Machine placement and levelling
  • Power and air setup checks
  • First-run testing and operator handover

Training and screen room support

Farieda Jacobs trains operators and production teams on the screen room side of the job, including screen making and screen reclaiming. She keeps the focus on repeatable methods, good cleaning habits and correct exposure handling, because those basics make a big difference to print consistency over time. A neat screen room also helps cut waste and keeps jobs moving when orders stack up.

Her training is practical and direct, with attention to the problems that many South African printers face, from water supply limits to power interruptions and the need to recover screens quickly between jobs. She works through each step until the team is comfortable doing it on their own, and clients often appreciate that calm steady way of teaching.

A team built for ongoing support

Our team is based in Aeroton, Johannesburg and supports businesses across Pretoria, Midrand, Durban, Cape Town and beyond. From a first machine enquiry to preventive maintenance months later, each person plays a part in keeping production running and helping clients get reliable results from cylindrical screen printing. We do not treat support as a once-off visit, it carries on through the life of the equipment.

When a client calls for breakdown repairs, spare parts or production advice, the right person is already close to the issue. That means faster answers, less downtime and clearer next steps. It is a simple approach but it works, and it is why many clients keep coming back to the same team.
